 A Place In Time was formed with a simple mission:
To come alongside clients as a guide and consultant during their organizing and/or relocation process... to assist them with sincere compassion and respect... and make a positive difference at this time in their lives.

A Place In Time Relocation Services was formed in 2006. In 2008, Valerie joined the growing company as a partner and the following year took over the business as its sole owner, with plans to begin marketing the firm's services to a wider audience.
Valerie has an extensive background in business and marketing, as well as time spent in the healthcare field. A former owner of several companies in the marketing field, she has been able to capitalize on this expertise to build a business model for APIT that will enable it to expand throughout the Arizona market.
After many years spent as a marketing executive in the Midwest, Valerie returned to Arizona in 1998 and soon after began a re-careering process in the patient advocacy field. She spent more than 3 years at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea, where she was a volunteer team leader for Patient Services at that hospital, with responsibilities that included training new patient services representatives.
Valerie is currently busy developing new business relationships for A Place In Time with a wide array of small and large businesses in the Valley, including organizations that promote senior health-care services, both medical and non-medical. She is a member of various organizations in the Valley, including Dynamic Networking Associates, which puts her in weekly contact with leaders of small businesses in the East Valley, and Senior B2B Networking, a consortium of professionals in the Senior and Caregiver industry.
A part of her time is also dedicated to volunteer services in the community. A major project is the annual Women's Conference at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Scottsdale, where she assists in the preparation of the three-day program and serves as the conference moderator.
She also makes time to involve herself in programs that provide continuing education as it relates to the medical and non-medical healthcare industry. This makes it possible for A Place in Time to better serve its clients, while preparing for the licensing requirements that this industry will soon adopt.
These programs include the Annual Conference for Long-term Care Professionals, a major conference in the industry that focuses on health, social, financial, and spiritual issues facing seniors and reports on important legislative and educational issues... the Arizona Alzheimer's Cosortium Annual Conference, which brings together researchers, professional and family caregivers, and other stakeholders in the fight against Alzheimer's disease... and the Time Out Workshops that provide professional growth opportunities by enabling professionals who serve the elderly and disabled to earn Continuing Education Credits in various facets of the healthcare industry.
Away from the office, Valerie takes great pleasure in spending as much time as possible with her husband of 32 years and her five grown children, many still residing here in the valley.
