Bill Arnold’s recent article in The Arizona Republic does a great job of providing his readers with an up-close look at A Place In Time and the work it does in the field of Senior Move Management.
A Place In Time LLC is owned by Valerie Preuss and operated by her and her husband. The Scottsdale-based company was formed in 2007. Valerie joined the growing company in 2008 as a partner and the following year took over the business as its sole owner.
After many years spent as a marketing executive in the Midwest, Valerie returned to Arizona in 1998 and soon after began a re-careering process in the patient advocacy field. She spent more than 3 years at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea, where she was a volunteer team leader for Patient Services, with responsibilities that included training new-patient service representatives.
Valerie is currently busy developing new business relationships for A Place In Time with a wide array of small and large businesses in the Valley, including organizations that promote senior health-care services, both medical and non-medical. She is a member of various organizations in the Valley, including Dynamic Networking Associates, which puts her in weekly contact with leaders of small businesses, and Senior B2B Networking, a consortium of professionals in the Senior and Caregiver industry.
But, despite her busy business schedule, Valerie is a hands-own owner who is involved personally in every move and works closely with each new client.
The University of Michigan graduate and mother of five works with many senior-care companies and organizations in a wide range of market segments, including many of the best retirement communities in the state, elder law attorneys, geriatric-care managers, community/group home placement specialists, fiduciaries, and others.
The profession of Senior and Family Move Management is relatively new, but as the needs of the Baby Boomer generation and Seniors grow, so does our profession. No two moves are the same, and our team takes great care to treat each move as its own.

This team effort makes it possible for the movers to pack our clients in one day, and then start early the next day to load and move the household to the new location and be unpacked and set up generally that same day.
